Our Story

In 2014, a group of chemists saw an opportunity to drive agricultural innovation by drawing on breakthroughs in medical polymer science. Their vision sparked the creation of a prototype polymer, the foundation for what would become Hydrovant.

Recognizing its promise, I took the leap to acquire majority ownership and build a business around this innovation. Before bringing Hydrovant to market, I focused on proving its real-world value. For eight years, Hydrovant underwent rigorous laboratory studies and field trials conducted by leading universities and private research institutions. These efforts not only confirmed Hydrovant as a true innovation in agricultural polymers but also drove continuous improvements along the way.

With strong scientific validation in place, we secured multiple agricultural patents and earned Hydrovant a place on the EPA’s inert ingredient list. Supported by that foundation, I accelerated Hydrovant’s expansion into major markets. Today, Hydrovant is registered across all 50 states and in 17 countries, representing a major step forward in polymer-powered agronomic innovation.

Corbet Scientific is headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming, and I am proud to say that Hydrovant is made in America. Hydrovant is only the beginning. Building on the same spirit of innovation and scientific discipline, Corbet Scientific is actively developing new products to continue expanding our impact and deliver the next generation of performance-driven agricultural solutions.
